La línea de mundo de un objeto es el camino que éste traza en el espacio-tiempo de 4 dimensiones a través de una serie de eventos espacio-temporales correspondientes a la historia de dicho objeto.
Los artistas residentes de HISK provienen de una multitud de orígenes culturales a través de los cuales han formado trayectorias, prácticas y metodologías distintivas. Si bien cada artista dibuja líneas del mundo y curvas particulares en el espacio-tiempo antes y durante su residencia, la gravedad infiere influencias mutuas de las líneas del mundo que pueden modificarse recíprocamente por los eventos compartidos que experimentan. Durante su viaje a HISK, muchas ocasiones presentan la oportunidad de explorar la simultaneidad y la diferencia. Por tanto, la exposición no se estructurará según una temática que intente incorporar sus heterogéneas obras sino que propondrá una metáfora extraída de la astrofísica que permita subrayar el modo en que algunos campos sensibles de atracción significativos (que son el ecológico, el ontológico, las crisis psicológicas, sociales, identitarias y políticas) pueden influir en las trayectorias de las obras sin absorberlas.
The world line of an object is the path that it traces in 4-dimensional spacetime through a series of spacetime events corresponding to the history of said object.
HISK's resident artists come from a multitude of cultural backgrounds through which they have formed distinctive trajectories, practices, and methodologies. While each artist draws particular worldlines and curves in space-time before and during her residency, gravity infers mutual influences from worldlines that can be reciprocally modified by the shared events they experience. During your HISK journey, many occasions present the opportunity to explore simultaneity and difference. Therefore, the exhibition will not be structured according to a theme that would try to incorporate his heterogeneous works but instead proposes a metaphor taken from astrophysics that allows underlining the way in which some significant sensitive fields of attraction (which are the ecological, the ontological, the psychological, social, identity and political crises) can influence the trajectories of the works without absorbing them.
