La LLunior es un colectivo que surge luego de un taller que realicé en el año 2016 “Experiencias Visuales en la Ciudad” donde invité a los participantes -entre 14 a 25 años- a desarrollar una metodología de trabajo colectivo en el espacio público en función de poner en práctica una experiencia asociada al descubrimiento de la ciudad.
Lo que hacemos es construir viviendas improvisadas e irregulares sin planificación arquitectónica en lugares periféricos en la ciudad a partir de materiales recolectados in-situ bajo el principio de que toda construcción teoriza el espacio donde se emplaza. Los elementos constructivos pasan por el recorrido, el hallazgo, la recolección y la acción temporal, son construcciones que duran solo algunas horas.
La LLunior is a collective that came out of a workshop I conducted in 2016 called “Experiencias Visuales en la Ciudad” [Visual Experiences in the City]. Participants – between 14 and 25 years old – were asked to develop a collaborative working method in the public space, as a way to experience a practice that related to discovering the city. We built improvised and irregular small-housing units with no architectural planning in peripheral areas of Santiago, using found materials collected on-site under the principle that every construction theorizes the space which it occupies. The building elements go through scouting, finding, collecting, and the ephemeral action. The constructions only last a few hours.

Es un proyecto que realizamos junto a alumnos de Balmaceda Arte Joven -corporación cultural sin fines lucro dedicada a las artes- donde construimos tres Llunior a partir de la reutilización de materiales de desecho recolectados en la bodega de la galería
Project realized with students from Balmaceda Arte Joven, a non-profit cultural foundation dedicated to the arts. We built three LLUNIOR constructions using found materials and objects in the storage of the exhibition space.
