Art to the rhythm of slow lanes
A vast landscape, a sky full of silence and green paths which from hill to valley cross the village on all sides. Sint-Denijs, synonymous with Saint-Genois, which is part of the municipality of Zwevegem, is a little-known pearl on the hills between the Lys and the Scheldt, almost straddling the linguistic border. Art connects, unites and invites reflection. The initiative to invade the village with works of art came from the minds of a few passionate villagers who took up the challenge of organizing, under the direction of curator Jan Leysen, a contemporary visual art event. The result? An unexpected 4.2 km walk on slow lanes to encounter art in the beauty of the vast landscape or in the intimacy of farmhouses and village houses. A unique experience to live!
